Okta is releasing a new software developer package and application programming user interface that will enable developers to construct biometric and push notice sign-ins.
The move is portion of a broader effort just for password-less sign-ins to reduce rubbing and boost security. Using the Okta SDK and API, developers can build cellular apps with branded drive notifications and biometrics such as FaceID to authenticate customers.
According to Okta, security and authentication providers need to acknowledge mobile-first workflows and technologies.

to do the following:
Embed Okta Verify technology with drive and biometrics in cellular applications.
Create branded omnichannel multi-factor authentication with custom push messages and action buttons.
Deploy more levels of protection in high-risk access attempts.
Allow end users to view plus manage their Okta signed up devices including self-service choices if a device is dropped or stolen.
The Okta Products SDK will be available for iOS and Android in early accessibility in the first quarter associated with 2021.
